Can lemon juice make hair white?
Lemon juice can lighten hair, but it cannot turn it white. Lemon juice contains citric acid, which can open up the cuticles of the hair shaft, allowing water and other substances to penetrate the hair. This can lighten the hair, especially if it is light-coloured to begin with. However, lemon juice cannot completely de-pigment the hair, so it cannot turn it white.
