How to Make a Bar-B-Que Rub

A barbecue rub consists of different spices to please the palette. A rub can contain a variety of different spices and seasonings, which makes the combinations almost endless. While you can create a barbecue rub from scratch by following your taste buds, you can also make a basic and more traditional barbecue rub recipe. A barbecue rub will infuse your meat with flavor and it can also help to tenderize tougher cuts of meat.
