How long can you keep fresh green beans from the garden in freezer?
Green beans can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 year. To freeze green beans, wash and trim them, then blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and immediately place the beans in an ice bath to cool. Once the beans are cool, drain them again and place them in freezer bags. Label the bags with the date and store them in the freezer.
