How to Cook Papaya
The papaya is a soft, sweet-tasting fruit that can be used in multiple dishes or eaten by itself. This delicious fruit is also really nutritious. It is full of antioxidants and potassium. It is also a good source of vitamin A,C, and D. Papaya can be prepared quickly and easily, ready to be added to a dish or eaten by itself.

- Ripe papaya
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Peeler or paring knife
- Spoon
Instructions

Wash the papaya.

Remove the peel with a paring knife or peeler.

Cut the papaya in half lengthwise.

Remove the seeds with a spoon (if desired). The seeds are edible, but have a peppery flavor.

Depending on how you want to eat the papaya, you can either use a spoon and eat it like a melon, or cut it into pieces and use it in fruit salad, salsa or smoothies.
