Why does my dishwasher flood the kitchen when I use it?

1. Improper Installation:

- Dishwasher not leveled correctly (causing water to pool and leak)

- Drain hose not properly connected

- Water supply line is not tight at the connection

2. Clogged Drain Line:

- Food particles, grease, or debris accumulation in the drain hose or filter

3. Faulty Door Gasket:

- Damaged door seal allows water to seep out during the wash cycle

4. Broken Float Switch:

- The float switch monitors the water level and shuts off the water supply when the tub is full. A faulty switch may fail to do so and cause overflow.

5. Defective Water Inlet Valve:

- A faulty valve doesn't close properly after filling the tub, leading to continuous water flow.

6. Overloaded Dishwasher:

- Overcrowding the dishwasher with too many dishes or overloading the racks can block the water jets, preventing proper circulation and leading to spillover.

7. Faulty Spray Arm or Blockage:

- A damaged/clogged spray arm may not efficiently distribute water, causing accumulation and overflow.

- Check for any food debris or clogs that may block the spray arm holes.

8. Detergent Issues:

- Excessive detergent or using the wrong type of detergent may produce too much suds and cause spillage.

9. Old or Worn Out Hoses:

- Deteriorated or cracked water supply hoses or drain hoses can start leaking over time.

10. Damaged Control Panel:

- In some cases, a faulty control panel can lead to incorrect programming and excessive water usage.
