How to Marinate Chicken in Yogurt
Marinades can infuse flavor, tenderize meats and even make them juicier. Different types of marinades provide different results. If tenderizing chicken is your objective, then consider using yogurt to get the most tender meat possible. You'll have to plan ahead to get the full benefit of the yogurt mixture. For this kind of marinade you'll need at least an hour, but preferably the meat should rest overnight. Don't skimp on flavor - you'll need to use yogurts that contain fat.
Things You'll Need
- Glass baking dish
- Greek yogurt
- Chili powder
- Ground coriander
- Wire whisk
- Grate
- Lemon
- Knife

Set a glass baking dish aside to hold your marinated chicken. Place 1/2 cup of yogurt in a glass bowl. Add 2 tsp. of chili powder and 1 tsp. of ground coriander to the bowl.
