How do you cook an arm roast?
### To cook an arm roast:
1.) Thaw the arm roast in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
2.) Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
3.) In a large bowl, combine the arm roast, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss to coat.
4.) Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the arm roast and sear on all sides until browned.
5.) Transfer the arm roast to a roasting pan. Add the remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper, as well as any desired seasonings, such as garlic, herbs, or vegetables.
6.) Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
7.) Remove the arm roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
*Tips:*
* To make the arm roast more tender, marinate it in a mixture of 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder for at least 8 hours or overnight.
* If you don't have a roasting pan, you can also cook the arm roast in a Dutch oven or Crock-Pot.
* Arm roast is a versatile cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways. You can also add other vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, or onions, to the roasting pan.
