How to Cream Butter in a Blender (3 Steps)
Baking recipes that call for creaming butter are asking you to finely blend butter with ingredients such as sugar. Creaming will leave you with a fluffy, airy mixture, the perfect start for a light cake or delicious frosting. It is important to begin with true butter, as margarine may separate and fail to give you that mouth-watering butter taste. One popular method for creaming butter is hand-blending, but it takes considerable time and patience. Cream your butter quickly by using a blender to combine the ingredients.
Things You'll Need
- 1 stick of softened butter
- Butter knife
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- Long-handled wooden spoon
Instructions
-
Remove any paper wrappers on the butter. Cut one stick of softened butter into 1-inch-wide slices.

-
Add three more slices of butter and 1 tbsp. of butter to the blender. Blend for 20 seconds. Use a long-handled wooden spoon to mix up food at the bottom of the blender. Continue adding butter and sugar until the mix is well blended.
