How to make brownies with bud butter?
### Ingredients
* 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
* 1 cup cannabutter (see recipe below)
* 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
* 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 large eggs
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cannabutter until light and fluffy. Gradually add in the granulated sugar and brown sugar, and beat until well combined. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, then stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Fold in the chocolate chips.
3. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
4. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Cannabutter Recipe
* 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
* 1 ounce cannabis, finely ground
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
2. Add the cannabis and stir to combine.
3. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
4. Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth-lined colander.
5. Let cool completely before using.
Tips
* For best results, use high-quality cannabis.
* Decarboxylate the cannabis before using it to make cannabutter. This can be done by spreading the cannabis on a baking sheet and heating it in a preheated oven at 240 degrees F (115 degrees C) for 30-40 minutes.
* Cannabutter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
* Brownies made with cannabutter can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
