How to Bake a Frozen Fruit Pie From a Frozen State

Fresh baked fruit pie tastes delicious and fills the home with a flavorful aroma. Prepare a fruit pie and serve it immediately, or freeze the unbaked pie and bake it later. Some pies do not freeze well; however, fruit pies do. Freezing your culinary creation allows you to reach into the freezer any time and grab a frozen fruit pie. Pop it in the oven, wait until it's golden brown and enjoy a quick dessert.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Remove the pie from the freezer.

  3. Remove any wrapping that covers the pie.

  4. Cut four slits in the top of the pie in the shape of an "X."

  5. Place the pie on a cookie sheet and place it in the center of the oven.

  6. Bake the pie for 40 to 60 minutes or until it is done.

  7. Remove the fruit pie from the oven, and allow it to cool before serving.
