Beyblade Characters

• The Beyblade manga features several young boys and girls who form a team and fight beyblades. The official Beyblade website features pictures and biographies of the characters Ginka, Kyoya and Benkei. The images for other characters are available by looking through manga books or watching the Beyblade anime series. To add characters to your cake, draw the characters with frosting. Use a frosting bag or squeezable frosting tube to create the outline of a character. Draw the character's basic hair, eyes and body shape for the simplest cake.

Spinning Top Toys

• Beyblade toys consist of a shiny, round spinning top and a launching device. Battle top toys vary in color and typically include a dark blue center and silver outline. For an easy cake decoration, place actual Beyblade battle tops on top of a cake. If you place battle tops on a cake, remove them before serving the cake. If you prefer, draw battle tops or string launching devices on the cake using frosting.

Battle Top-Shaped Cake

• Battle tops follow the shape of a short, round cake. To create a battle top cake, bake a short cake using a round cake pan. Decorate the sides of the cake with white icing. Cover the center of the cake with yellow icing and spread red icing over the remaining area of the cake. Because Beyblade battle tops vary greatly in their color, you have a lot of possibilities. To color the frosting, mix white frosting with several drops of food coloring in a small cup or bowl.

Beyblade Logo

• Each battle top bears the same Beyblade: Metal Fusion logo in its center. This logo looks like a dragon's face inside a circle. For a simple decoration, draw the logo on a round cake.
