What is addled eggs?
Addled eggs are eggs that have failed to hatch and have begun to rot inside the shell. It can happen to both fertilized and unfertilized eggs, and to those that have been abandoned by their parents. The rotting process is caused by bacteria, causing the egg and its contents to become spoiled.
