Who invented the Eggo waffle?
The Eggo waffle was invented by Frank Dorsa in 1953.
He was working for the Frozen Food Corporation (later acquired by Kellogg's) and was tasked with creating a new frozen breakfast food that was quick and easy to prepare.
Dorsa came up with the idea for a waffle that could be cooked in a toaster, and the Eggo waffle was born!
