What gives body to a stock?

Body of a stock refers to the part between the high and low prices of a stock for a particular day.

There are two types of stock body:

1. Real Body: This is the actual price movement between the open and the close of a given stock for that day. If the close is higher than the open, real body will appear white, and if the close is lower than the open, the body will appear black.

2. Hollow body: This is when the open and the close are at the same price. This type of stock body is typically seen in stocks that are consolidating or trending sideways.
