What do mudskippers eat?
Mudskippers are opportunistic predators and scavengers, feeding on a variety of small animals and plant material. Their diet includes insects, crustaceans, worms, molluscs, fish, and algae. They also feed on detritus, which is decaying organic matter. Mudskippers use their sharp teeth and strong jaws to crush and devour their prey. They have also been known to swallow sand and mud in order to extract small organisms and nutrients.
