How to Make and Store Cheese Sauce

Things You'll Need

  • Ice cube trays
  • 2 cups of a variety of cheeses
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • Medium sauce pan
  • Stove
  • Whisk
  • Plastic wrap

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in the sauce pan over a medium heat. Turn the heat to low.

  2. Stir in the flour with the whisk. Slowly stir in the salt and the pepper.

  3. Stir in the milk and the cheese and heat the mixture until it is smooth.
